Ontology-Based Integration Of Information

The modern enterprises accumulate massive information resources in the informalization-process,but because these information possibly originates from different information system, expressed and memory-form respectively different, there are grammar and semantic isomerisms, it is difficult to share and operate mutually, this bing the new challenge for enterprise's information integration.It is very difficult to solve information source structure and semantic isomerism with traditional information integration method.Therefore, the thesis brings ontology technology into the enterprise information integration, carries on the formalization and the standardized expression to isomerism information, which is in order to solve the problems exist in traditional information integration .Firstly,the thesis analyzes the problem which exists in current information integration method,introduces several typical information integrations method, proposes information integration framework that based on ontology technology,and describes the components of the framework in detail; Then the essential technology that information integration uses:ontology mapping and ontology evolution are investigated. The algorithm of ontology mapping is gived and auto-mapping between ontologies by the algorithm is realized; the process and the approach of ontology evolution is analyzed.Afterwards,the system requirements of the information integration system that bases on the ontology technology are expounded, the structure and the function of the system is confirmed, the design of comoponents of the sysytem are described in detail,and the database tables are designed. At the end of the thesis,the system that bases on ontology is realized,and been applied to actual project,solves the problems of information integration effectually.
