For past few years, the high-power rectifier system has been widely usedin the field of chemical industry, metallurgy, urban rail transit and high-voltagedirect current transmission. The National Energy Technology "12th Five-Year"plan centreing on the requirement of "safety, high-efficiency, low-carbon ",puts forward new ideas of low-carbon technological innovation and low-carboneconomic on the energy-guzzling industry. To real-timely monitor the loss ofsome important components in the rectifier system, evaluate the actualperformance of the device, and make the appropriate corrective measurement,we urgently requires a multi-channel high-precision monitoring system. Thispaper aims to study the synchronous data acquisition and communicationapproach of the system in detail.Firstly, the paper outlines current situation of the study in data acquisitiontechnology and communication approach of monitoring system, and introducesthe multi-channel, high-speed, high-precision of data acquisition technology.For the requirement of the synchronization of multi-channel data acquisition in monitoring system, the deviation of cumulative incremental method, a softwaresynchronization measurement, is adopted to improve the accuracy ofsynchronous acquisition after the discusstion of synchronous sampling methodin detail, and the data acquisition is achieved by synchronous trigger of unit viaoptical fiber communication.Secondly, considering the measurement accuracy of the system andrequirements of synchronous acquisition of current and voltage, the6-channelsimultaneous sampling ADS8364converter is selected as a system samplingchip. According to the overall structure of the system, analysis of the A/Dsampling module is conducted. By buiding block design method, the softwareof the acquisition module and multi-channel data synchronous acquisition iscompleted.Finaly, the communication interface ciruit connecting microcontroller andchip card is studied; the communication protocol of the monitoring system isanalyzed to determine the layers of communication protocols. Theachievements of the underlying NIC drivers and configuration the RTL8019ASregisters realize the correct reception and transmission of data packets. After the design of the TCP/IP communication linking module and the completion ofthe communication link between the acquisition board and principal computerthe reception and transmission of acquisition data is achieved according tothe requirement.
