Nowadays, children live in the atmosphere of developed media. The world of"seeing is not believing"built by the media models children whose cognitive abilities are limited. Although the increasing information reflects that the society is moving forward and enlarges the space of children's information choice; however it make more confused to children to use and choose information, sometimes even for choice itself is even more at a loss as to what to do. Just as Alvin Toffler talked in"Future Shock":"some day ,choice is the choice of superior choice, and freedom will become non-freedom because of too much freedom."Such a day is really coming in media times.As a result of the rapid development of media, The mode of children's reading has become more diverse, from the text reading to the superior text reading; from the single text reading to multimedia electronic file reading. So in the media times, children's methods of discernment, the style of cognition and the habits of thinking , all of which overturn traditional education. Moreover, media embody power consciousness, political purpose, the ideology of value, and the motivation of business, and so on , showing tendency of constructing subject , which set up a barrier to children's cognition. Children enjoy interaction in the unreal world in the media, but avoid that in the real world . For example , the children who infected by"role virus"always imitate the unreal figures in the media world. Children who are Simple , puerile and imitative are liable to be puzzled and can't extricate themselves in the entertainment of the world constructed by the media. For example ,"young net addiction patients". So as the media changed quickly, it is important to improve children media literacy.According to the period of children's cognitive characters, when we study children media literacy education ,we should base the angles of the following: forming the habits of media contact, mastering methods of media literacy, establishing the consciousness of media criticism ,carrying out the steps of media unscrambling.
