Application Of Virtual Reality Simulation Technology In The Congestion Control Of Data Flow

With the quick development of virtual reality technology, virtual reality simulation which offered a new kind of interactive interface became a focus of technical research of simulation.This thesis has carried on the theoretical research to virtual reality simulation technology and built the structure and frame of virtual reality simulation system which regarded VRML, Java Applet as the main programming language. It mainly studied virtual reality modeling technology, VRML and Java interactive technology. And by using these technologies, it took congestion control in the internet as an example, set up the experiment environment of virtual simulation, realized the mutual function of virtual scene and simulation procedure, controlled the movement of the three-dimensional entity of the virtual scene and realized the transmitting course of the virtual data flow which used mathematics model of queuing theory. It deeply analyzed and studied performances such as the average service time of systems, average spacing interval and discussed difficult points involved in the course and corresponding solutions. It offered a new method for analyzing and studying the dynamic performance of the congestion control.The experimental result indicated that virtual reality simulation environment has incomparable sense of reality and interaction with traditional simulation. Virtual simulation not only solved the reproduction of the virtual environment and operation process of congestion control, but also proved rational selecting of relevant parameter in queuing theory. The observer was not a simple outside observer again, he could participate in and immerse to the simulation environment, regulate various kinds of parameters in simulation process and observe the result after regulating parameters with the way of immersed vision.In sum, virtual reality simulation technology could verify the validity of the simulation model better and more ocularly and effectively display the simulation result. It overcomed weakness of the traditional simulation method on visuality, immersed sense and interaction and made traditional simulation modeling environment change a lot. So, virtual simulation would have a wide application prospects.
