The technology of moisture content measurement is a synthetic technology relating to many subjects. During the past several decades, by the researcher's hard work, some prominent successes have been achieved. Whereas, due to the influences of several other factors in moisture content measurement, the measurement precision and the repetition are not satisfied.By synthetically analyzing wood drying technics and the application of automatic control in this field, intelligent automatic measure was applied in the research and development in wood dying kiln measure systems.In the duration of studying this task, intelligent automatic measuring system based on main-slave AT89C55 CPU was developed, which could sequentially acquire several measured parameters. High precise measure were realized. The trend of intelligent automatic test technology were fully embodiedIn the thesis, more advanced method of data processing is introduced and exploring study is carried out. These provided new id(?) for data processing in the moisture measurement technology.The principle of data merging method based on parameter estimation is used. The validation is proved by increasing the measurement precision and reducing the uncertain factorMoisture content (MC) distribution and water movement of wood along thickness direction during drying process were studied. Results showed that initial MC of testing boards was not the same. During drying, the MC distributions along the thickness direction of all testing boards were gradually changed into parabola distributions with low MC in surface layer and high in core layer. After equilibrium treatment, the MC in surface layer was almost equal to that in core layer.High precise, real-time scanning, accuracy test was validated by operational result. Reliability of measure result and capability of anti-noise were the performance of this system.
