A Study Of Library Culture

In recent years, people come to know that the culture of enterprise has more and more significant effect on developing of enterprise. This issue has been focused on with other domain, such as library. People have taken part in discussing library culture actively and tried to improve the development of library by researching and building up library culture foundation. Therefore, it is an essential to cultivate the library culture with modern idea and it is the duty to library staff nowadays.This dissertation suggests adding culture factor to library management and devoting to cultivate library culture act an important role, develop advanced culture as the main aim of library foundation and development and make library culture produce more promoting and supporting effect on library science management. The dissertation explains the meaning of the concept of library culture. It means summation of material and spirit that the library staff and reader create in long-term social activities together. And discuss that the content and relationship between its basic elements. The library culture contain spirit culture, material culture and institution culture three parts, the spirit culture of them is its soul, material culture is its foundation and institution culture is its indemnity. The dissertation point out that main strategy for constructing of the library culture need focus on setting core value sense, enhancing group spirit, constructing reasonable institution and building library image. The article expatiate the ways and approach of the library culture foundation from circumstance, resource, institution, service, personnel resource aspects. The library culture is a kind of management culture centering on person. Humanism idea is its soul, in this article the emphasis is the idea of humanity management of the library culture and it's embodiment in the library culture constructing.In this article from viewpoint of cultivating library culture and solving practical questions try to find the joint of library culture development and social economy and culture development. We should design and layout library culture by new concept, new content and new method and put it in practice methodically by the plan.
