The User Study Of MyLibrary@JLUhp

In the 21 century, with the rapid development of the Web and the computer technology,the traditional information services could not meet the information requirement of the user,and the Network Information Service(NIS) is getting more and more attention. User-centeredservice idea is the basic tenet of this information society ,and personalized information serviceis becoming the trend of information service in the future.During the development course of the existent personalized information models,"MyLibrary" shows powerful competitions of its own, and becomes mature and perfectcomparatively at the present time. The core of personalized information service is"user",theusers' study is the key of personalized information service from beginning to end. At presentthere are many papers retrieved about personalized information system in our country and out,but many of them are unsubstantial, they couldn't intergrate with their practices and it's weakabout theory research.Based on the opportunity of the development of Mylibrary@JLUhp, the dissertation iscombining the situations of the user and the resources of the heping campus of JiLinUniversity, investing the following aspects including information requirements of the user,user psychology, user privacy right and user model, then tables some proposals aboutMyLibrary. It is expected to be the strong theory foundation of the subsequent user study.
