Nowadays with the explosive growth of web information,"information loading","information losing"and how the users to obtain the information effectively is the main problems need to be solved urgently in information service system .The traditional information service system is developing to the direction of personalized information service .To realize the personalized information service, understanding the users'interest is the first step. So as the core of personalized information service realization ,"User Modeling"technology receives more attention from the person gradually. In this paper, for the semantic shortage of traditional user modeling technology, making a research on the modeling technology of domain ontology and using domain ontology to show the user interesting model. To realize the personalized information service much better. When the system recommends the information to the users, it will consider users'interest and relationship between them.This paper analyzed some domestic and foreign modeling technology research situation firstly. And it elaborated some background information and relative theory about user modeling. Then it analyzed users modeling method of domain ontology in user modeling technology .This paper introduced a domain ontology"interest conception tree"on the above base .Finally this paper designed a prototype system, adding a user interest modeling on the base of Lucene research prototype and using semantic similarity expansion of the users'search to realize the personalize information research. Experimental result showed that the research result by user interest modeling loading can meet user interest requirement much better.
