1. IntroductionThe function of local switching network network and management system is tosupervise and control all the local network element. It is a important supportingsystem day by day for running and maintenance department to manage andorganize producing action.network management interface system carries outinterfacing switch to network management system as a bridge between networkmanagement system and switch.Whether it's function good is relative to functionand effection of all the network management system.It is necessary to explore anddevelop high effection and steady network management interface system.Our current local network management system NOMA 1.0 is developed in1995.It has many problems in use for hardware and software conditional limitthen.It is necessary to improve the network management system.We develop NVLOCAL system with GUOXUN Company.It is further morecomfortable ,more simply and flexible.It only needs modifying the configure filewhen interfacing a new swith.2. Main research of the paper2.1, The function of NVLocalNvlocal system of the studying in the paper uses TONGHUA NETWORKCOMMUNICATION network as developing environment.It realizes the threenecessary functions for network management system:complete connection way ,Gather the primitive report and Ports management. ( 1) connection way: According to each network unit's characteristic , considersynthetically that adopt distributing gather or centralizing gather, dispose thecommunication protocol rationally, connect the initial data of the exchangemachine and accomplish the task of safeguarding in unison.( 2) Gather the primitive report :We can gather the traffic,gather the warning data,send work form to the exchange machine and receive result,send operating ordersto exchange machine and receive the final result on a port.We can dispose more than two ports to send operating maintaining orders andreceive the final result.( 3) Ports management: exchange machine ports are the limited physical resourceof communication network. The system must design the ports managementrationally in order to fully utilize exchanger machine ports. The system shouldguarantee the priority operated to the exchange machine. The system needs to solveports disposing , port state monitoring , ports assigning , ports conflict, port trouble,and so on.2.2, The hardware structure of NVLOCALNVLOCAL acts as the source of data gather and the opening of the controlorders of network management , the access of different network unit is essentialduring the course of the whole network management system research.NVLOCAL system adopts object-oriented design philosophy in order to suit forvarious function configuration and grouping network requirement , takes differentaccess ways according to different exchang machine's interface type. The designaccords with the norm of TMN physical system structure.The modules which can offer TCP/IP (including C&C08,HJD04,ZXJ10 etc.)connetct directly to DDN through route machine.The other modules which can only offer RS232 (including DMS , S1240 , NECetc. ) connetct to DDN network through GTS 108. GTS 108 can change severalCOM protocols into TCP/IP protocols with route functions. We can dispose thecommunication parameter according to each COM.Network management centre dispose one router which offer E1 interface ,connect to DDN by copper axle cable with 2M, DDN divide 2M into 32 time slot,each time slot is 64K, connect to every module route machine (or GTS ). Eachmodule and one time slot of route machine are assigned one sub network, whichadopt PPP (POINT TO POINT ) protocal.2.3, The software design of NVLOCALThrough adopting the design programming method of object-oriented, analyzesand abstracts different network units and ports type , abstracts public part of themact as the base of the system, derives out the subdivision which includes differentspecial processing on this basis. By this way , reduce the hard work and improvethe quality of the program . C + + language offers very good support forobject-oriented method .C + + has obtained support in most of the operating system. There isstandardized interface in various development base including STL at the same time.This system adopts commercialized RogueWave develop base in order to shield thedifference of different operating system in network , IO and procedure control atthe same time. Each quipment manufacturer has offered SDK interface that C or C+ + may utilize, it has facilitated the communication between the program and thelong-range accession equipment.The basic function of network management system is to link the switches'sinterface,fetch the traffic and alarm report of the switches,send the command to theswitches .Using the approximately protocol for the different switch port.Using thedifferent class to define the different protocol stack in program for communicatingwith the different switch port.Realizing system schedule based on the differentprotocol stack,so mask the difference of various protocol and simply the program.2.4,The utilizing test of NVLOCALThe NVLOCAL system passed the utilizing test in TONGHUA local switchesnetwork.The delay between the sending the controlling command and going backless than one second ,It is less than five seconds from alarm report generating todisplay on the panel.It is steady for running ,meets the real-time,reliability, and soon demands.NVLOCAL system utilizes in TIONGHUA local network,for its steady andreliability ,plays the important roles in real-time supervising and controlling thenetwork ,servicing the coustomers high quality and effection.3,the conclusionThe NVLOCAL system can fully utilize the resources of the current network,flexibily carries on the telephone network management of business-oriented, Itpromotes communication from traditional dispersal management to openingcomprehensive management , it also offers important reference value for the othernetwork management system construction..The design of this system is a development which is carried on under TMNframe structure, guarantee the science and the advance of the exchange network,following the development of the computer technology, It has adopted the majorcomputer technology. By the test of pre-running ,the system is steady and reliable ,realize low cost , high-efficiency centralized access really.
