Design And Realization Of Monitoring Software Of Embedded Network Video Surveillance System

In recent years, with the organic combining with the Internet, and blended the information technique, the computer technique, the network technique and streaming media technique, the embedded digital video monitoring technique has become a development trend of the supervised and control realm. So, the research to the embedded digital video monitoring software technique has the vast applied foreground and huge social benefit and economic benefit.This thesis, which takes the development of an embedded network digital video monitoring system as its background, research the key technology in this system, such as the hardware and the software design, the software running on monitor server etc.The main task of this thesis is base on the development board named daredevil which is produced by WIS co,ltd in USA.In structure of the hardware circuit ,double-CPU system based on S3C2510A and GO7007SB is adopted. The highly efficient chip S3C2510A based on the core of ARM940T acts as the host CPU on which uClinux and application programming run. Collection and compression of the audio/video data by the special chip GO7007SB,it makes use of the newest MPEG-4 technology to complete video stream compression.The thesis adopted some technologies like TCP/IP, directshow, avi etc to receive the video stream on the monitor side and decodes the stream to display, save or replay. Besides the video data, the thesis transfers some control data between the daredevil-side and the monitor-side, the class Winsock, which encapsulate the BSD socket is utilized to achieve this goal. Above all, a prototype of embedded video monitor system was implemented in this thesis.The work of this thesis does some practice on how to implement an embedded network digital video monitoring system. Meanwhile, the research content and the realization method has some reference on implementing EWS in other areas.
