The Application Of TPMS For Heavy Vehicle

The development of Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS) is a scientific item,which is sponsored by an enterprise in Anhui Province.Most of the domestic car manufacturers are carrying out the research in the same field.This item is emphasized on the huge domestic car market,and it is of great economic value and practical significance.In the process of car's running in high speed,the tire fault is the most worring and the most difficult problem to prevent from to all the drivers,and it is also the main cause of the paroxysmal accidents.How to prevent from bursting tires has been very important to achieve safe drive.Out of question,the TPMS is the very ideal too.This thesis mainly considers the TPMS used in heavy vehicles and it consists of a transmitting module, a transferring module and a receiving module.TPMS is a real-time monitor of the state of the tyre and gives an alert in an abnormal state. This design adopts a transferring module which translates wireless radio frequency signal into CAN bus signal to improve the reliability of this system. Simultaneously, this design solves the waste of energy sources resulting from the distant transmission of the transmitting module. The receiving and displaying section software introduces the RTOS (uCOS-Ⅱ), which makes the programming easier and this system more reliable and stable. The application of this system ensures the safe running of heavy vehicles.
