Research And Implementation Of Java-based Workflow System

The workflow is a kind of emerging information processing, mainly uses for to help the realization of the flow processing works which are under the variety service environment that orient the demand.To realize process automated processing is it's priority target.These processes contain the activityies which are made up of human and the machine as the foundation activity, specially the IT application procedure, the tool interactive process, carry on automated processing. In the workflow system ,the related service activities connect mutually to constitute workflow according to the succession or the logical relations.The documents, the information or the duty basis defined flow rule are processing or the executing between the participant.In the workflow reference model, the workflow engine is the core of workflow system. It according the role, the division of labor and the condition to choose the routing transmission information of the workflow system, and responsibly provides the explanation and the execution service function.The traditional workflows system engine is an independent application, most of which are based on the middleware technology, if they have not used the middleware, the workflows engine must have own to realize service technology such as multi-thread synchronization, network communication processing and resources pond, therefore the cost of realizes them is very high and the technology is very complex. In order to overcome these problem in the application of the current workflow, this paper unifies the concrete application demand, launched the research of Java-based Workflow System.The paper first analysis present situation of workflow technical, has discussed the elementary theory and the correlation technology, system structure, the workflows reference model, the workflow modelling and so on;According to the present research condition, this paper unifies workflow reference model, this paper proposed a kind workflow system model based on the Java. And produces the detailed design of this workflow system, developed the workflow engine based on the Java. Established the prototype in this foundation to work flow mentioned above,elaborated the basic function which realized. Finally this paper introduce the author's ponder of lightweight workflow system, and proposed the next generation lightweight work the conception of author's .The workflow system introduced in this paper make it easy to develop business system, may facilitate inserting to the existing system , reduces greatly technical difficulty and the risk in integration with the original system. Using the lightweight workflow-based application frame mentiond in this paper could obviously reduce based on the flow definition information system development cycle, enhances the working efficiency.
