The GUI Development Based On BCM7038 And Embedded Opration System

It is discussed a solution of embedded GUI system which is a part of HDTV project in this paper. This HDTV project is based on the project "Component oriented Embedded Networking Technology" which is one of National 863 High Tech Program (863 program) and uses BCM 7038 as the hardware platform.At first, the thesis outlines the history of embedded GUI, demonstrates the architecture model, characteristic and design principle of GUI system. Then we give a solution suitable for our hardware platform and our embedded OS. This thesis divides the GUI system into three layers: the lowest layer is GAL and IAL which provide drivers for the graphis interface, the middle layer is the kernel of the GUI system which provide the necessary functional modules, the highest layer is the application layer (API).Finally, the solution of GUI system is successfully applicated in the HDTV project and after the commercial operation of Shanghai Raisingsun Technology Ltd, Many famous TV set manufacturers, such as TCL,Haier, use this solution to produce TV sets.
