Using the method of artificial simulation of rainfall can accelerate the experimental process of soil erosion, rainfall flow and in filtration and avoid the influence of natural factors. It can quickly obtain the experimental data in the special time and favorably accomplish the planned experiments. It is an important measurement to research soil and water conservation by artificial simulation of rainfall system in the indoor and field experiments.At first this paper introduced the development of artificial simulation of rainfall system and Programmable Computer Controller. Programmable Computer Controller (PCC)– the new-type industry control facility, which integrated together with computer, communication and automation technology, has distinctive real-time multitasking operating system, powerful network communication ability, friendly programming platform and varied modules. According to the demand of the design and characteristic of PCC, the system was designed as the IPC--PCC structure, the communication between them is via CAN BUS. Using Automation Basic language of PCC, it achieves artificial simulation of rainfall in two methods: manual and assembled. The design of anti-jamming was done in the hardware of control system.In the part of PC monitor and control, the frame production, the cartoon connection and the on-time database were introduced on the basic of actual application. The monitor and control on the spot and data collection have been carried out successfully.Firstly, after acquires the model of system, it transforms the system into SISO systems by the decoupled control. Secondly, it designs PID controller anddoes research of the simulation for them. Finally, the simulation result shows that this method is very reasonable and effective.The system has been applied successfully, the operation demonstrates that it is reliable and steady. The supervisory control software has kind interface.
