Along with the rapid development of the traffic in our country, the city tunnels are increasing gradually and the computer application technology is being used in the monitoring system of the city tunnel. Referring to the pump monitoring subsystem in ShouYi square tunnel monitoring system, the thesis designs and implements the pump monitoring system owned the stability and the advanced function which intergrates the information technology, control technology,computer technology and other high technology. The system is useful for the development of the future pump monitoring system.The thesis discusses the composition and the common control network technology of control system in the industry control domain, based on the characteristics of ShouYi square tunnel, analyzes and designs the network architecture of pump control system, then proposes the system design scheme. The pump monitoring system is mainly composed by three parts: the PLC system, the HMI system and the host computer system. The host computer system communicates with the PLC system by Ethernet, the HMI system complete controlling to the device by the serial communication with the PLC system. In order to enhance the stability of the system, the two control modes supplement mutually.The main contributions are as follows:1. According to this project demand and standard of choosing programmable logic controller, the OMARON CJ1G PLC as the control core is used in the PLC system, the thesis elaborates the process of PLC sampling and processing to field data and the program of PLC is designed and implemented. The system has gathered the information of fluid position value, as well as receives the related information which the host computer passes on, and realizes logic control to pump and blower.2. Analyzes the principle and the characteristics of the touch screen and chooses touch screen, then designs the friendly pump control interface used by the man-machine interaction interface edition software3. Develops the host computer system with the KingView software, implements the pump monitoring system with the KingView visualization software components, implements the store of the important data in the database which can provide the investigation for the later inquiry and analysis. In order to implement the effective control of the pump, the thesis designs some system interfaces which is useful for the staff to revise the parameter to adjust the strategy of the pump control.
