Research Of Petri Net Based Workflow Modeling And Application

With the development and advancement of the science technology and society, the construction scale of handle official business in enterprise is enlarging, and its complexity is deepening, which results in the substantial increase of the amount of the information need to be processed in the office. It has been proven in practice that to assure the efficiency of moving of the document and management of the daily affair in the office, modern management theory and method should be adopted with the help of modern information technology. But there is a lack of unified and useful modeling tools in the field of system modeling. Had campared and analyzed most of modeling tools, the author chose the Petri net as the modeling tool which is popular at present. This paper studied on the system analysis, design and application of office automation system based on petri-net-based workflow modeling. Combined with the characteristic of petri-net-based workflow modeling, this paper expatiated the flow and approach of handle official business in enterprise and daily affair in the office; based on it, analyzed the objective of office automation system in the enterprise, induced the operation and information flow of office management, presented a universal functional model of office automation system in the enterprise, and described the system from three aspects of model, function and characteristic. Combined the project background of Huaneng Yunnan Lancangjiang office automation system, the author developed the office automation system based on petri-net-based workflow modeling: induced the operation flow of handle official business in enterprise and daily affair in the office, and established the E-R model based on it. This paper presented the system from the three aspects of function, critical technology and characteristic.
