Research On The Open DSP Teaching Experimental System

With the development of open motion control system based on DSP chip, more and more engineers who can use DSP to develop the advanced motion control system are requested. The training to these engineers is the key of accelerates the development of the new technology. The status of mechatronical course teaching in our country is provided, an open DSP experimental teaching system is put forwards and developed. First of all, according to development of open motion control system and the mechatronical course teaching status, this paper brought forward the open DSP experimental teaching system. Secondly, a research on the experimental circuit board and electric control parts and mechanical parts are carried out. The frame of the whole system is introduced in the beginning of part, and the design of the circuit board based on the characteristic of TMS320LF2407A DSP chip is introduced in detail. The chip pin are connected with the control panel of the electric control part to make the system can be reassemble and expandable. And the design method and characteristic of the mechanical part and electric control parts are introduced. Thirdly, the principle and the environment of programming are introduced, and some point of the programming is provided. Finally, some experiments that based on some special module of the DSP chip are provided, including some basic experiments and a comprehensive experiment, and the developing direction of the experimental system and the development plan is introduced in the end of the paper.
