In recent years, in pace with the growth of the press, newspaper competition becomes intense. Some traditional newspaper offices begin to reform, and transregional expansion takes place often. All kinds of newborn newspapers emerge in an endless stream. However, because of the lack of management and administration experience, many participators fall into a passive position, and finally are cleaned out by the market.By reference to economics, marketing, management and other related subjects, this essay takes an example of a daily newspaper which started publication in October, 2003 in Ningbo and discusses the market entrance tactics of newborn newspapers, for example, its position selection, product tactics, advertising tactics and distributing tactics.
