General business newspaper and periodical is indicated in this article, which isclassified by international general standard for newspaper and periodical. There isnot consentaneous way to classify the business newspaper and periodical in Chinaacademy of the journalism and mass-communication. The article focuses on theburgeoning general business newspaper and periodical.The article is divided to three chapters.The developing background of business newspaper and periodical is introduced inchapter 1. It is China economic development, the fiercer competition andsegmentation of the media market that result in the business newspaper andperiodical.Chapter 2 analyzes mainly the characteristic, the competition status and the marketoutlook of China business newspaper and periodical. They will be more flourishing inseveral years, according to the increasing GNP of China, the trend of Ad. income ofbusiness media, the fund supply and so on.The developing trend and strategy are the emphasis of chapter 3. Business newspaperand periodical should manage to enhance their competitive strength to be the winnerof future market. The existing simplified newspaper or magazine would be replacedby the multi-industry companies. Business media should unite education organizationto train more competent business journalists and editors.
