Quality Management Information System (QMIS) is the important component and foundation of Manufacturing Information Engineering for enterprise. Quality has been given more and more attention with the development of global economy and science & technology, and quality management has become the critical part of production and business activities. In order to improve the quality management level, through combining with quality management workflow of certain enterprise, by using C++Builder as software tool and its framework in Client or Server which contain advanced ISO9000 workflow, as well as by coordinating and controlling all the work elements, and then carrying out the process recording, statistics, analysis and decision-making. Providing the integrative management software system for enterprise to manage and strengthen the quality management level, ensure quality review of enterprise continual improvement, reach the working mechanism continuous improving of quality management.Firstly this thesis reviews the development and research status of quality & quality management generally, and discusses how to strengthen quality management in certain degree, and puts forward the frame of integrated manufacturing information engineering and also discusses the function structure and information flow of QMIS at the same time. Information model has been founded used by ERwin software of IDEF1x system and given out EPC workflow model at the same time. And then the QMIS based on ISO9000 (Edition 2000) quality assuring system is discussed primarily and the shortage is pointed out about the enterprise how to handle the ISO9000 system and the typical workflow of quality is put forward and made the quality system structure more perfectly. At last it makes the requirement for QMIS and some key technologies of the software are discussed, and also describes the software practical use concretely.The purpose of the research thesis in this work is that QMIS not only preserve the whole data but also can enhance the quality management level, and then gain the advantages in the market competition.
