Disease prevention and control organizations are set up in national, provincial, municipal or county level, and are also founded in village cliniques and urban community health service enters. Its main responsibilities cover the inspection of disease, immunity inoculation and the settlement of paroxysmal public health event. Up till now, the information level of the disease prevention and control organs are still at the preliminary level compared with other industry. Most of them process their daily business work manually and is far from enough to meet the need of the present social development. Thus, to satisfy the urgent need of Disease prevention and control organizations, the information management system should be developed.At present, business process between departments of a certain Center for Disease Control (CDC in short) always lacks of effective workflow, especially lacks of effective methods on information collection and statistics. For example, data of floating population can not be shared by CDCs in different locations, that will cause the unfinished work or the repetition, and manually processing of work data will cost much labor, time and resource, as the side effect, the accuracy and timeliness are difficult to be guaranteed.Our project develops aim at the urgent requirement to the daily work of CDCs. First constitutes a standard workflow for the main business process of CDCs, and then reflect the workflow in the information system. This system will offer customer the effective methods on data collection and analysis. During the development of the system,will build up intranet net on each level of CDCs gradually, and the data will be shared among the net. This system will help to convert CDCs daily work from manual work to electron-calculation and automatization, and to attain a higher level.During the development of the project, insist on the software engineering rules that focus on the demand which is the core value of customer. On stage of requirements analysis, should find requirements as more as possible. For some blurry requirements, they will be made clear on early stage of detail design. Make a primary model based on the requirements analysis by iterative and incremental development process, and then continuously refine the model, finally develop a deliverable application system. On project management, a team will be built up , and will undertake the responsibility through the whole development and delivery process.
