Software Project Management And Testing--Application To Software Development

Software Engineering tells us how to develop and maintain software effectively. This thesis discusses the two most important aspects of Software Engineering ?project management and software testing.The content of this thesis is follows. In chapter 1, the terms and background of the research is presented. Chapter 2 discusses the basic theory and methods of the Software Engineering used in the project. The Software Project Management, including staff management, schedule management, and configuration management is discussed in chapter 3, 4 and 5, respectively. Software test is also an important topic in Software Engineering. Chapter 6 is devoted to this task. In chapter 7, a conclusion is made at the end of thesis.Outstanding work in this thesis include discussion of the Software Engineering knowledge, Software Engineering execution guide line of a software development company and application of Software Engineering in J2EE E-commerce project to show how to apply Software Engineering theories to a software development activity. The thesis is based on the work done by the author in a software company in Chengdu.
