With the arrival of the information society, the computer technology is deeply changing ourmode of production, life style, the way of working and studying. In order to meet the basicdemand of talents in information society, we must accelerate to develop the informationconstruction of interactive multimedia. Satellite communication plays a very important role inlong-distance education construction. Satellite communication is rapid, convenice, flexibleand has abundant information, but people put forward new requisition for ground receivingsystem of the satellite with the transition from analog signals to digital signals. How to makethe aerial aim at the satellite in shorter time and guarantee the reliability and speediness ofreceiving digital signals becomes the problem that need to be solved urgently.The present domestic satellite reception antenna controllers are basically designedaccording to the extreme value following principle. The satellite antenna controllers can aimat the satellite according to the carrier waver signals through driving the antenna tocircumvolve repeatedly. This still can meet the demands to the system that receives theanalog signals, but can't realize aiming at satellite accurately to the system that receives thedigital signals. So there need new mend to meet the requisition.Adaptive control system of satellite antenna that the thesis researches is to combine controltechnology of the aerial and computer technology together, utilize the satellite antennacontroller with the core of SCM to make the antenna aim at the satellite with auto or manualmode, search star,aim at star accurately according to Eb/no siginals,save the data in the PCwith the time of itself. The computer sent data to SCM timely in the period of adaptivecontrol, so SCM receive the date and transfer corresponding program to control satelliteantenna exactly.This thesis expounds mainly the design theory, main function, the characteristic of theadaptive control system of satellite antenna, and the main technology and implementationmethods. Chapter one and chapter two analyze the basis theory and give a whole design planincluding primary technology and project design. Chapter three gives the hardware designthat includes hardware electrocircuit structure, principle chart, selecting all kinds of parts ofthe apparatus, the sensor elements and the design of some electrocircuit. Chapter fourintroduce the software design and material program for the SCM includs the design ofmonitor soft, search star, limit situation, meet high-point and serial communication. Inchapter five there are software design for PC, included serial port select, angle collect timely,adaptive angle control data browse, print and clear data, explaining the basic principium ofserial communication between SCM and PC. In chapter six, the main content are theinstruction and prospect of the system.The thesis is based on antenna control theory and automatic control theory, andemphasizes the method of following and controlling to satellite antenna, and design thesystem from the two ways of hardware and software, which adapts to receive both analogsignals and digital signals. The system avoids manual adapting antenna arduously and timelyand it needn't turn antenna to look for the satellite time and again. The system aims at thesatellite expeditious. It has high precision and friendly human-computer interaction interface.This study can directly serve in the modern long-distance education system and the measureand control realm of satellite antenna, which is applicable to the antenna laboratory of theinstitutes. It has higher use value to popularize.
