With the arrival of the information society, the development of modern education technology, which takes the technology of the computer as center, is changing our mode of production more and more deeply, life style , working way and way of studying . In order to meet the basic demand to talents in information society , We must accelerate to develop the information construction of interactive multimedia. Satellite communication plays a very important role in long-distance education construction. More and more people realize the speediness, convenience, flexibility of Satellite communication and richness of information resources, but at the same time the requisition for ground receiving system of the satellite is higher and higher. How to make the aerial aim at the satellite within shorter time and guarantee the reliability and speediness of receiving signals, becomes the problem that need to be solved urgently.The present domestic satellite reception antenna controllers basically are designed according to the extreme value following principle, The satellite antenna controllers can aim at the satellite ,only when the carrier waver signals are received and compared through driving the antenna to circumvoJve repeatedly . This still can meet the demands to that system which receives the analog signal, but can't realize aiming at sateiiite accurately to the system which receives the digital signal.Adaptive control system of satellite antenna that the thesis researches is to combine control technology of the aerial and computer technology together, and utilize the satellite antenna controHer with the core of SCM to make the antenna aim at the satellite with auto or manual mode at every settled period of the time, seek the satellite excursion rule, save the value into the computer, then the computer adapts the satellite antenna controller automatically to aim at the sateiiite rapidly, well and exactly.This text expounds mainly the design philosophy, main function and the characteristic of the adaptive control system of satellite antenna, and the main technology , the principle and implementation methods which are involved. Chapter one and chapter two analyse the basis theory and give a whole design plan and expatiate the basic exoterica of system inculding primary technology for application. It involves the basic control theory of satellite antenna and analyse for the whole function. Chapter three gives the hardware design which includes hardware etlectrocircuit structure, principle chart, selecting all kinds of parts of the apparatus ,the sensor elements and the design of serial communication electrocircuit etc. Chapter four and chapter five introduce software design for the SCM and the personal computer, giving mainly design theory and material program which includ the design of searching for the satellite and searching for the high-point and the program development by Delphi on PC, explaining the basic principium of asynchronous serial communication for epigyny computer and hypogyny computer. These two chapters are the emphases of the problem. Chapter six summarizes to the system.The article is based on antenna control theory and automatic control theory ,and emphasizes the method of following and controlling to satellite antenna, and carries on system design from the two ways of hardware and software, which adapts to receive analog signals and digital signals. For simulation receiving machine, it realizes automatic following with AGC signals and for digital receiving machine, it realizes to aim at satellite with excursion rule. The system avoids manual adapting antenna arduously and timely and it needn't turn antenna to look for the satellite time and again. The system has swift speed to point itself at the satellite. It has high precision and friendly human-computer interaction interface. This study can directly serve in the modern long-distance education system and the measure and control realm of satellite antenna, which is applicable to the antenna laboratory of the institutes.
