The pulse is an important parameter that reflects the human body function, which has very important reference value in the life ward of the human body,we measure accurately the person's pulse signal and reflect the pulse signal with the variety of time,which have the important meaning for the clinical medical science.With the development of electronics technique, Micro Controller Unit general applies to the instrument field owing to the small volume, the strong function, the low power consuming. According to current technique and development direction, we designed and researched the project of pulse signal acquiring apparatus base on AT89C51: It can actually withdraw the pulse signal, and the anolog signal can be converted into digital signal after amplifying and filtering, and then the pulse signal is sent into computer. Because MCU output TTL electricity, we need to design the conversion circuit in the communication course of MCU and computer. The conversion circuit can transmit the data between the RS232 and TTL electricity. The computer's serial interface is accessed to the MSComm control in VB6.0, adopting the asynchronous communication with MCU. It can examine and show the respiratory signal, and set communication port simply by asking.This design can actually remember the person's pulse signal of hours, consecution, and long time. It has realistic meaning.
