| As the advance of electronics technology and IC, the digital system's clock frequency is growing higher and the edge rates are getting faster. The printed circuit board (PCB) system becomes a high performance platform which is not only supporting the electronic device a board before.From the perspective of electric, the interconnect among the high speed signals is no more transparent and unblocked. It can't be neglected that the connection among wires and stackup characteristic interfere signal. It is the key that how to guarantee the signal quality and deal with the problems such as Reflection, Crosstalk and Simultaneous Switch Noise (SSN).Signal integrity issues mean the signal's quality on the signal line. It occurs by several factors in a PCB system. A qualified signal integrity must be considered during the whole design process while the traditional method is depended on personal experience which can't meet the high performance and high density PCB design. An analysis and simulation method based on the IBIS (Input/Output Buffer Informational Specification) can solute the potential SI problems in the design level and be valid to achieve a successful design.Based on the SI principle, the thesis analyses the some SI problems in a PCB system such as Reflection, Crosstalk and SSN, and also discusses the solutions of relative problems. Then it takes an embedded networking video monitoring hardware system, and analyses, designs the system using high-speed PCB's SI design process. Under the Cadence PSD 15.1 kit, the design simulate and resolve the SI problems of key net such as routing topology, Crosstalk and customize the routing rules according to the pre-routing simulation's results. After routing the whole traces, it also verifies the key routing nets by simulation. The SI design shows right effect and shortens the PCB designing cycle. The simulation results further prove the importance of SI simulation. |
