The Research And Application Of Workflow Management System Based On CSCW

With the management and control of the workflow by workflow management system, computerized business processes can be achieved, and enterprises can get a method to realize better management. However, traditional workflow management systems only focus on the execution of workflows. They didn't pay attention to the teamwork between workflows. With the development of society and the progress of science and technology, various works have become more and more complex, which make the problem become increasingly serious.At this stage, the completion of each work is a collective wisdom of many people, which makes the teamwork increasingly important in modern society. Using teamwork to improve the efficiency of the entire enterprise has become a goal of many modern information enterprises. With the maturity of communications and computer technology, Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) also came into being.This paper analyses Current workflow technology and workflow management system, focuses on existing workflow management system bugs in the collaboration, discusses the combinability between workflow management system and CSCW, studies the potential problems in the cooperative workflows and the new characteristics in the workflow management system based on CSCW, brings the cooperative work methods. This paper designs a workflow management system based on CSCW, which refers to Workflow Reference Model designed by Workflow Management Coalition (WFMC). This system uses knowledge base as the base of cooperative workflow, realizes the workflow collaboration by knowledge and rules in the knowledge base. The author combines the key technologies and programming skills and applies this new system in the purchasing system. It solves the collaboration in the purchasing system. At the end, the author summarizes the research and presents next research.
