As new technology of data_transfer, GPRS has many advantages such as high transfer rate, low cost, being convenient for upgrade and so on. So it's the new focus of industry supervision field. At the same time, our country needs more and more electric power, so we need a better management system to control the power. The paper researches the highvoltageswitch supervision system which based on GPRS.The paper firstly analyzes the GPRS and the structure of the wireless supervision and management system, and then focuses on the design of the terminal module, including the GPRS module and the control and datacapture module. It first analyzes the functions of the terminal module and the makeup of the system, and then realizes the terminal system by designing the hardware and the software. About the hardware design, the MCU, the GPRS module and the data capture module are carefully chosen, and the full hardware platform is designed. About the software design, the μC/OS-Ⅱ is port, and some OS functions are designed, such as device management. At last, the application program is designed. About the design of the server, the functions in request are shown, and the realization of the cooperation between the server and the terminal modules is designed.The design makes up the highvoltageswitch supervision system by the hardware and software design of the terminal module and the software design of the server. The design can realize the network connection and data transfer between the server and the terminal module. Based on this, it can control the switch and capture the electric data. The more system functions can be designed in future. In a word, the supervision system designed in the paper is applied, it has a bright future.
