Design And Realize Standardized Real-time Teaching System

Based on stream media technology, the easy-updating pure software of online real-time teaching system could effectively organize online teaching and reconstruct real classroom scene, it provides the online education a powerful technology support. The ability to share various courseware resources and inter-operability of systems are of great significance towards applicability and economy of online education. But for lack of unified standard and norm, it is difficult to share and reuse teaching resources that created by the teaching system, and consequently leading to lots of wastes and repetitive development.By research on Chinese E-Learning Technology Standards (CELTS), the dissertation designs and realizes a standardized real-time teaching system.The main research works conducted in this dissertation are described as follows:1. Research on overall design of the standardized real-time teaching system: Through five parts as material resource, real-time encoding, publishing, transmission and client side, this dissertation studies the broadcasting data stream from material collection to successful reception of the client side. By discussing the principles that must be observed, function module definitions of the system are designed.2. Research on key techniques of the standardized real-time teaching system: Based on studying standardized description techniques, XML description of manifest elements, manifest elements, organizations elements, resources elements is realized by DOM (Document Object Model). After studying the four steps of realizing stream media content synchronization as creating the stream media file, insert script command and extracting script command, this dissertation analyses stream media broadcasting and courseware real-time generating techniques.3. Research on realization of the standardized real-time teaching system: Functions of the standardized real-time teaching system such as real-time capturing, broadcasting and memory of the teaching information, powerpoint pages to web pages conversion, teaching information real-time broadcasting and stream media synchronous courseware auto-generation are realized through visual c# as the development tool.
