Nowadays, many video-audio transfers is still base on analog signals. The problems of this measure are high cost, long construction period and weak adaptability. The appearance of streaming media technology solves these problems.According to the characteristic of audio and video realtime monitoring, we choose the RTP/RTCP and DirectShow developing platform which suits the transmission of realtiming media. After introducing and analyzing the correlative knowledge, such as DirectShow platform, H.264 video coding technology and RTP/RTCP, this paper expound the building process of the system.Firstly, the papaer expatiate the structure of the monitoring system, then expound the main problems that we met in the system build process and give the schemes in details. Thereinto, the schemes of self-Adaption transmission control and media synchronization are expounded in particular. Aiming at the differences of audio and video the self-Adaption transmission control use the different ways to solve the transmission control problem. Meanwhile, the paper solve the problem of the synchronization of the audio and video well by using the methods of the buffer, the timestamps and so on.In the part of the software actualization, we expound the design of two core classes which base in RTP. The two classes encapsulate the sending and receiving functions of the system, incarnate the scheme we rised and they can support many media type. On the base of the two classes, we complete the build of the monitoring system. At last, the experiments prove that the schemes are effective.
