We live in an era of information. The media broadcasting and application via Internet with audio and video technology has penetrated into every aspect of social life. The most wide applications among those are video conferencing, video on demand, remote education, TV broadcasting, etc. Therefore, the acquisition of information and emotional exchanges become much easier. Traditional web teaching system is confined to asynchronous teaching online, lacking of real-time, interaction, vivid expression or abundance. By using"controllable video stream"techniques and high-quality video file system, Flash media technology makes it possible that we are able to simultaneously transmit and broadcast real-time contents with high-quality video and course seminars online.The application of Flash media techniques in web teaching enables a conversion of traditional teaching mode into a vivid film mode, as well as radio teaching, audio-video teaching, teaching demonstrations, messaging, web theatres, remote management, teaching on-demand etc. The convenient connection and highly interactive exchange mimic a virtual space of"vis-a-vis"teaching, which facilitate teachers and students in time and space.Based on the constructive teaching theory, we focused on the characteristics of web teaching, and,discussed the relevant protocols and utilizations of the traditional mainstream Flash media technology in combination with the development in audio-video technologies in this paper. In compare to the features of traditional Flash media technologies, we introduced a new developmental technology that is Flash Media Server (FMS) which not only has Flash video but also is capable of developing interactive executive programs. We used and studied the application of FMS with audio and video technologies transmitted synchronously in real-time dynamic audio teaching system. The design of the system, major functions and methods of realization have been introduced as well as certain application and creativity of this system.
