A Case Study On The Different Explanation Of The Anti

From six aspects of the theme construction, key demand of the subject, news source choices, picture utilization, public opinion disposition and expression, this thesis has analyzed the differences in the reports about the Anti —secession law on People's Daily and Central Daily ,by using the related explanation about the "frame theory" by Taiwan scholar Zang Guoren. The initiator of the frame conception is Goffman, but the origin of the "frame theory" may at the same time be traced back to the scholars' explanation of reality as well as the cognition psychologists to the cognition base mold. So, the frame mentioned in the early research of "frame theory" actually means the cognitive structure which people always use to understand things, with more stress on the cognition psychology category. Therefore in the last part of this thesis, the author analyzed the reason of this medium actuality, by using the cognition structure of cognition psychology discussed before. The present thesis is a tentative endeavor to show that the ideology has influenced every side of the media processing, so as to the understanding of the audience as well. "Medium is ideology", the idea of the communication critical school has been testified again.
