With the rapid development of Internet and wireless communication, mobile agent technology and Ad Hoc network become the research hotspots. When researchers penetrate with the two fields, they begin to realize the two technologies have something in common, that is the property of dynamic. Based on this point, they integrate them together and take advantage of the dynamic property of the mobile agent to solve the dynamic topology problem of Ad Hoc network and attain great achievement. An interesting application is to apply mobile agent in information sharing and exchanging system based on Ad Hoc network. By using the mobile agent, we can get an asynchronous approach in the system, but there are some problems: request information may flood the network and the highly dynamic topology of Ad Hoc network bring the side effects to the system, so the advantages of mobile agent can not be represented sufficientlyThis paper propose a solution after doing some researches on related fields, which integrate mobile agent with the clustering architecture of Ad Hoc network. The propagation of agents is restricted in certain areas of the network, so the requests can not flood the network. The asynchronous property of mobile agent is used to reduce the side effects of the dynamic topology. Besides, we design an improved model which incorporate mobile agent into Ad Hoc network based information sharing and exchanging system.Firstly we introduce the architecture and technology properties of mobile agent and Ad Hoc network;Secondly, we analyze the advantages of incorporating mobile agent into Ad Hoc network based information sharing and exchanging system and the deficiencies. We not only propose a solution but also design a prototype model and illustrate the related techniques. Finally, we obey the Agent-Oriented program design standards to implement the prototype model, the model is feasible and has the superiority in the aspects of robustness, flexibility and adaptability.
