Design Of Demux Circuit In STB

The Demux module presented in this paper is one part of singal-chip for STB (Set Top Box) STB is a best transitional implement before digital television replace analog television completely,it is also a necessary terminal information unit of multimedia in this digital age.The consumers of CATV who use STB can enjoy a integrative informational services such as TV,datum,sound and so on.The tentative standard for digital television in China is established by the DVB,which is consituted of the system layer of the MPEG-2.So this paper is organized as follow: describing the principle and configuration in chapter one , introducing the systemic layer of MPEG-2 in chapter two, chapter three which is the most important part of this paper is a detailed presentation of my Demux module design include function,flow chart,hardware framework,RTL code,interface periods require and cycle analysis.
