Tolling System Test On Telecommunication Research And Practising

With the steady escalation of telecommunication (hereafter shortened as "telecom") users and with the telecom network increasingly complex, telecom technology increasingly advanced and telecom services increasingly diversified, the quality of telecom services has now become the focus of millions of users. As an integral part of any telecom service, the accuracy of its tolling system is now playing an increasingly important and indicative role. That is why findings and conclusions reached as a result of tolling system test on telecom analysis are bound to be worthwhile.The thesis proposes a conception of open test system and the method to realize it, but traditional test software is embedded in the signaling testing instruments. The open test system has already been used in the testing tolling system performance of telecom successfully. This realized the semi-automation of the test flow. Relying on the final result, the data of charging is made necessary adjustments. The main work of the thesis are summarized as follows:1) Through an analysis of the various factors and stages involved in the entire procedure how the exchanger and the tolling system generate data for the processing of individual bills, the thesis puts forward that the test contains 2 systems: exchanger and tolling system;2) There was also a comparative study of the fixed-network end-to-end testing method versus the Signal #7 testing method;3) The thesis devised a kind of open test system of tolling. The test system is made up two parts: the test platform and the test programs. The test platform can support different kinds of signaling testing instruments and test suites;the test programs are open to users and can be modified with different telecom services.4) In terms of other key testing functions, such as phone-bill matching, testing of phone-call duration, testing of payment due, and inspecting of data analyzing and processing technology etc., the thesis discussed the option of making necessary adjustments to the related exchanger and the tolling accounting system, so that certain specific outcome are achieved.
