This paper takes the central heating system as its research object. On the basis of basic heating theory, It mainly introduces the designment and development of intelligent secondary supervision and control nodes based on CAN bus in central heating control system. These nodes have following functions such as communicating with main controller—ARM, collecting and processing data, controlling executer and so on. The feasibility of its using in industry control range is also testified.Firstly, the background, importance and condition of study in our country and overseas are given. The paper describes composition of heating-supply system, adjustment measures and adjustment basic formula, explains working theory and functions of heating-supply detection and control unit. Concept, character and frame of CAN bus are given. Moreover, it introduces CAN-bus control chip—SJA1000 including its functions, structure, parameter assignment. Finally, the paper describes development and design of software, hardware in smart nodes which use single-chip as microprocessor.Finally, the project is summarized. It also has validated the correctness of designment of smart secondary nodes and its character of small volume, light weight, stable performance and convenient application.
