This research puts semiweekly of ' Kang Zhan' edited by Zou Taofen into thecontext of dissemination and editorological, on the basis of occupying certainprimitive information, mainly uses the method of the text research to analyzed thesemiweekly. It discusses the development of Taofen's idea and practice of editing inthe period of Anti-Japanese War by investigating inidividual case. This researchanalyses semiweekly of 'Kang Zhan' from four respects, and concludes that thesemiweekly had got new development and manifested new individual character,compared with the newspapers and periodicals edited by Zou Taofen before. Firstly,in contrast with the former situation, the idea of editing semiweekly of ' Kang Zhan'grew mature. The semiweekly is not only used to serve masses, but also to wakemasses in confusion and help them recognize the current situation of the war.Moreover, the development of the idea is maintained with the social environment atthat time. Secondly, the newspapers and periodicals were bearing the weight of thespecial historical mission during the war, and this historical mission affected thefunction of the newspapers and periodicals, which is to transmit information andguide the public opinion. Thirdly, the application of various news reports and theenlargement of function of mailbox reflected the great affection of the function of'Kan Zhan' and Zou Taofen's choice of semiweekly on the editing practice of 'KanZhan' . Fourthly, in harmony with the change of editing practice, the ways ofreporting were various, including the centralized report, organized report .However,no matter what kind of report was adopted, they were all benefit to the function of'Kan Zhan' and the editing practice.
