"ji Kang Set" And Its Music Literature Research

Ji Kang is a famous musician in the Wei and Jin periods of Chinese history, scholars alwaysresearch his musical theory and thought from the aesthetic but rarely the documents aspect. Inthis thesis，I choose “Ji Kang assembles” as the main object，discuss the Ji Kang′s archivedocuments of music，excavate and revealed the historical value of music about his verse. Basedon this，make further analytical treatise on his musical theory and thought。In the part of synthetically discussing, I make a simple introduction to the researchPurpose, object, area,method，the theory and Practice significance of this Paper. Meanwhile theoverview of current Progress in related studies is also presented.Chapter1: Ji Kang and “Ji Kang assembles”History of the life of Ji Kang records were few and not detailed, In the middle of spreading“Ji Kang assembles”, Reality of edition was more complex. Thus in this chapter,I give thetextual research on his detail time, Surname and Family situation; summarize the headstreamand tributary of “Ji Kang assembles” and his famous contents overview. Explore and definitethe two concepts:"document" and "music of the document”. And make a brief in the musicaldocument handed down in “Jib Kang assembles”.Chapter2: The research of “Odes of harp” and Existing document of the ancient ChineseharpJi Kang is a good performer on the ancient Chinese harp, He played "Guang ling powder”was later become a favorite tale. But there were only few scholars study his document of theancient Chinese harp. thus this paper mainly study the ancient Chinese harp′s document of“Odes of harp” and other poems, explore the harp′s name, type, system structure, productionprocess which seen in "Ji Kang assembles ", preliminary discuss the regulations and soundeffects in the application, To make clear the “Odes of harp”’s important reference effect tostudy the ancient Chinese harp.Chapter3: The research of existing musician and melodiesThere are many musicians and melodies in “Ji Kang assembles”, This chapter cheeks themusicians that are recorded in the Poems and prose，and classifies them into three categories according to their status: Professional, reclusive, Tao musicians，and study his manythoughts and emotions during the description of those musicians. Arrange the general situation ofmelodies and ancient Chinese harp music in “Ji Kang assembles” initially. At last make a textualresearch on which music is his works and which one is used to practice only.Chapter4: The research of Ji Kang’s musical theory and thoughtBased on the first three chapter’s research foundation, interpret Ji Kang’s musical theoryand thought systematically. The first two sections discuss "sheen wu ai le lun" embodiment ofmusic stands, and the musical thought in "qin fu" and "yang sheng lun". Based on the previousresearch, this chapter explains Ji Kang’s thought of music from the essence of music, emotionand function three aspects.The final section, from the perspective of music consciousness,research the important influence about Ji Kang’s musical theory and thought in the Chinesemusic history.
