Fluent software has a strong function, friendly user interface, robust algorithm. The rich physical model make it widely application, from aerodynamic characteristics of finite wings to melting pot burning, from bubble tower to glassmaking, from flow of blood to manufacture of semi-conductors, from design of clean room to a plant for disposing of sewage, the software with great power of analog capability extended application of rotary machine, aerodynamic noise, internal-combustion engine and multiphase flow, it is the most comprehensive available CFD software. Using fluent to create a model of characteristic of the P-cathode in a 3-dimension could, therefore, make microcosm visualized and cubist.In this paper some basic functions of fluent software are used for preliminarily investigating on some features of the plasma working medium which is produced in a P-cathode in a triple-cathode system. Processing of creating a parameterization model of P-cathode in the triple-cathode system based on fluent software is present. A parameterization model is created and relevant simulating experiments of numerical calculating are carried out, and results are analyzed and discussed.In order to provide a reasonable and accurate model in the analysis for the P-cathode in 3-dimension, this paper represents a procedure of constructing a model of P-cathode in 3-dimension based on the fluent software, especially for an effect of expanding plume, characteristic of P-cathode and its research approach of modeling.Furthermore, results of numerical simulation computing are analyzed and discussed. Provide information of orthogonal experiment, principle of experiment, design of experiment and experimental method. Use Minitab software to analyze experimental data, educe optimum solution of a model of P-cathode. Conclusions may provide certain basic senses on further exploring on the characteristic of the P-cathode in triple-cathode system.
