The hydraulic amplifier is the hydraulic control system based on the theory of hydraulic drive and automatic control. Nowadays, the exploration about the operating principles of the hydraulic amplifier in our country is still in the stage of artificial experiments. The object of this paper is to find an effective and low-cost way to explore the jet hydraulic amplifier with the help of advanced technology of computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).In the experiments many important inner fluid details and rules of hydraulic amplifier are obtained according to the characteristics of fluid' flowing of the inner hydraulic amplifier and using two-dimensional fluid movement equation and finite volume method. During the process, computational domain has been dispersed using non-structural and structural meshes and the flow field in the hydraulic amplifier has been numerically simulated using soft-FLUENT of CFD.The operating principle of the hydraulic amplifier and the influlences of the structure to working functions have been obtained from the analysis of comparing six kinds of hydraulic amplifiers' computed flow field data .
