As the fast development of modern network and communication technique, the mobile equipment become more and more universal. It provided a good technical condition for the remote control of home electric appliances. This thesis took air condition as the test object and designed a multi-function home electric appliances remote controller that based on telephone net, SMS of GSM, GPRS wireless internet. Then customers can choose a kind of suitable way to control home electric appliances that can be controlled by infrared remote controller.This thesis constitute by the design of intelligence infrared remote controller, the remote control way that based on telephone net, SMS or GPRS wireless internet , system anti-disturbance etc.If the controller could control the home electric appliance, we must design a intelligence infrared remote controller that can connect with other computer system. Through analyse the infrared communication technique, the first part of the thesis introduced the study function and soft-hardware design of the intelligence infrared remote controllerWe can use telephone net to design remote controller, because the telephone net is the widest net and the expenses of the telephone communication is very cheap. Through analyse the telephone communication technique, the second part of the thesis introduced the soft-hardware design of remote controller which based on telephone net. We can control the home electric appliances by dialing the home telephone number and operating the telephone key.The Short Message Service(SMS) is a basic business of GSM net. It gets more and more valuable to many people. The applications which based on this business also rapidly developed. Through analyse the SMS business and the communication method of GSM terminal equipment, the third part of the thesis introduced the soft-hardware design of remote controller that based on SMS. Wecan remote control the home electric appliances by sending a short message.General Packet Radio Service(GPRS) is a fast data deliver way. It uses the technique of packet exchange. Its data deliver speed can get to 17Okbps. Through analyse the technique of GPRS wireless communication, the forth part of the thesis introduce the soft-hardware design of remote controller that based on GPRS. We can remote control the home electric appliances through the internet.
