With the rapid development of the network technology and multimedia technology, the multimedia technology becomes the important method for people obtaining information gradually. The information already has been alternated in the world, many numerical information (text, image, voice) make information facilitate to copy. The security of information has been more concerned by researchers. Since the chaos theory came out, characteristic of the chaos phenomenal has been get attention of cipher scholar. Chaotic encryption applies a new research approach to solve security of information in computer network and security communication inaugurate. Based on chaotic technology, contemporary cryptology and their applications to modernistic information security and encryption, the author has performed comprehensive research and the research will be of great theoretical significance and applied value.In this paper, at first, the background and the state of the subject are introduced. We analyze the video encrypted technology, and detailed discuss the algorithmic of video encryption techniques combining with basic conception of cryptology. The encryption algorithmic has been divided into two parts, the first part is the block cipher algorithmic of the video stream;the other is stream cipher algorithmic. Cryptograph of block encryption appear one bit error, whole block cannot comeback. Sequence cryptogram encryption dispose the every bit of random sequence and plaintext, then it will not bring diffuse of error. It realize simply, and rapidly. Stream cipher more adapt to video with high code-rate. So, sequence cipher suits the request of real-time and huge data volume. Secondly, we analyze the basic conception and character of chaos theory;discuss the application of chaos in the cryptography detailed. Chaotic sequence with a complicated structure is a sort sequence of non-liner, and it is difficult to analyze and forecast. Chaos system can provide a random-like sequence with good randomization, relativity, and complexity. Then we advancea scheme based on the Chaos Encryption system of video. We contrast the result of Elliptic Curve Cryptographic Algorithms and the algorithm given in this paper, the latter is better in the effect and speed of encryption.Finally, a new method based on chaos theory is adopted. We use the chaos systems to encrypt AVI, test it and get a better result than the other methods we have discussed.
