With the development of multimedia and network technologies, multimedia data are used more and more widely. It becomes urgent need to protect multimedia data on the network by encryption. Video streaming is an important multimedia data with characteristics of real time and large amount of data, so traditional encryption algorithm is hard to adapt for video streaming encryption. So that, it needs to research on more appropriate encryption algorithm to meet the real time encryption and transmission requirement of large amount video streaming.Based on hyper-chaos Hénon mapping, a hyper-chaos stream cipher was designed and being used to encrypt video streaming. It involves video streaming encryption and transmission technologies in this thesis.The main content of the thesis are as follows.1. On the basis of analyzing the chaotic secure communications, video streaming encryption and real time streaming media transmission technologies, the randomness of the sequence generated by hyper-chaos Hénon mapping was studied. The method of producing stream cipher with hyper-chaos system was put forward.2. The video streaming encryption and decryption algorithm based on the hyper-chaos stream cipher, suitable scope of seed key selection and safety delivery methods were studied. The randomness of binary code stream cipher produced by hyper-chaos Hénon mapping was analyzed.3. The method of video streaming transmission based on RTP/RTCP was studied. An IDs matching method based on RTP was presented in order to solve the synchronization of encryption and decryption keys. Synch ID was added in RTP, and it was matched to the ID of keys in the buffers of receiver. It ensures that the decryption keys in receiver are simultaneous to encryption keys in sender.4. The prototyping system of the video streaming encryption and transmission was designed and implemented. The system can encrypt and send video streaming at the same time, and decrypt and play while receive simultaneously. The tests of effective of encryption and transmission of the system were analyzed. The results show that the system is security and high-efficient, and it can meet the video streaming encryption security and real-time requirements.The studies indicate that stream cipher produced by hyper-chaos Hénon mapping is adapt to encrypt video streaming for transmission in network. The work extends the application of the hyper-chaos stream cipher, and also to promote the development of video streaming encryption.
