Research And Implement Of Intelligent Building OA System Based On J2EE And WorkFlow

The concept of workflow originates from OA. It is aim to the activity with fixed procedure in the daily life. The purpose is to depart the work into some tasks, roles, carry on and control these roles to increase efficiency, lower the cost, increase management level and competition ability. Workflow technology, as a new research field, has being widely applied in the fields of manufacturing, office automation, concurrent engineering, electronic government and so on. It is the key technology to realize modeling, optimizing, managing and integrating of enterprises' business process and also the automation of business process. The workflow technology has become an important method to smooth the business process and improve the competitiveness of enterprises.Along with the development of web technique, more and more applications are based on web. J2EE platform provides a multilayer and distributive mode of application, enabling the ability of reusage. The component of J2EE can be deemed as an encapsulated unit of software. The combination of many component forms the J2EE application system, in which every component could communicate with each other. Through the integration of J2EE, the safety, efficiency and reliability of the system can also be guaranteed.Web design pattern of Struts framework, which is based on J2EE MVC model, is adopted to design the whole system. It can split the application into business module, application controlling module and data displaying module efficiently without worrying about coupling problems, and improve flexility of the application, then develop the system in an orderly way. It is also convenient for integration, maintenance and upgrade.This paper analyzes the workflow technology. Refer to the Reference Model of Workflow Management Coalition, it tells an Internet-based WfMS. It studies and analyzes the application of activity network diagram in the modeling of workflow management system, and detailedly designs the process model and the organization model in the process definition. This kind of WfMS fits the variety and complexity ofthe business in the Intelligent Building OA system. The paper discusses how the workflow engine controls the business flow. Design and implementations of the workflow engine are also given in this paper. Database technology is used to store the workflow model and the workflow relative data. The design for the database is described as well.
