A Research Of Web Based Teaching Resources Database

We are now in a great new era of knowledge. The demand of education is so great that traditional education pattern can't satisfy society requirement. The development of information technology provided for education, networks technologies and multimedia technique have popularized in many fields, which makes it possible to optimize and share education resource.E-Learning industry has flourished itself in the domain of network application in recent years. Now, the challenge E-Learning faces is the lack of reusability and interoperability of E-resources, at the same time, E-Learning materials also lack of presentation of route programming. Those abundant teaching database are one of the essential in the teaching pattern, at present, the const ruction and management of many Chinese web based teaching resources aren't based on a unifying technique standard.Those type of teaching database prevalently have a problem that the content of those database are static stored. Namely, that was one-off uploaded by the teacher an the programmer. With the eyes of the development aspect, as a whole, that is unilateral and one-off uploaded. The teachers and the students lie in the opposite position. They act in the dissimilitude role. Plenty of the completed teaching database have abundant information, but those are renewal slowness and in defect of attraction. The problem is that the Teaching databases are deficiency of intercommunion and dynamic enlarging capability.Resource Construction is the core of the Distant Education;high-efficient resource management can improve resource service efficiency and promote teaching better. This thesis not only researches basic theories and main contents about constructing web based teaching resources database, but also explores and practise that how to construct web based teaching resources database.Aimed at current teaching resources that are distributed dispersedly and can hardly be used and shared, a framework of distributed educational resource, which sets up an uniform resource directory center for distributed resource nodes, isdesigned. The synchronization of information between resource directory center and distributed resource nodes is solved by using XML-RPC.
