The Design And Realization Of Management Information System Of Higher Adult Education Enrolment

The management information system of higher adult education(HAE) enrolment is developed on the demand of HAE enrolment of the Ministry of Education. It is of great significance for it aims at the whole process of HAE enrolment. With the application of the system, the traditional task of HAE enrolment is now fulfilled by computers. It makes the enrolment more objective, more fair and more rapid through network communication and database. It can also provide detailed information of students and the comparison sequence of different items of their abilities.The thesis has compared the main developing approaches of MIS system, part of which has been applied in real development of management information system of HAE. The system is developed on the basis of opening, integration, stability and security, and the object-oriented technology is adopted in the system development. The objective of the system is that the system structure is proper and clear, the execution of the system is reliable and efficient, its operation is simple, the man-machine interfaces are on good terms, and the system is highly practical and secure.The database design is based on the database system theory. The problem of how to keep the integrality of data and transaction processing in multi-datasheet operation is also discussed in the thesis. The thesis also deals with the usage of BDE and ADO data-engines. Part of the system software has been applied in the whole province.
