Design And Implementation Of Network Management System Based On NC Network Architecture

With the development of computer network, network management has became more and more important. Network Computer (NC) and NC network architecture is a new application mode in internet, which is managed in dire need of in effect. Now NC is in a developing phase. The network management field about NC still was blank.About this problem, the author put forward a solving project, and the realization method.First, the paper introduced the concept of NC and the developing process of NC,for the difference between NC,PC, and the no HD work station had a analyse, the emphases was the forming ,the characteristic and the application of the NC network architecture. Then, the author introduced notion, task and functional domain of network management, analysed several network management architecture in existence,and studied SNMP protocol in detail. The research of SNMP was included: the development of SNMP protocol, network management information structure, AbstractSystem Notation One, the dictionary order Management Information Base, SNMP message and the theory of operation of SNMP message.On the basis of the foregoing , the author integrated some advanced thought about network management of traditional and modern , combined NC and trait of NC network architecture, then founded network management system that based on NC network architecture, the system are composed of NC network management flat, web long-distance network management subsystem, and NC network management surrogate. First, the paper has devised the NC network management flat in detail, the content was involved graph style's user interface, network management topological graph, MIB compiler, MIB browser, SNMP protocol communication software package, the relation data-base of network management, and application program interface. Afterward, the paper analysed and designed the work module of weblong-distance network management subsystem, and discussed NC network management surrogate's expanded method. In the end, the author aimed at the each part of the paper, provided the arithmetics and the realization approachs, and work out sum-up and prospect about the more developing of the network management system.
