Research Of CMMI Quality Control System In Softswitch Project Development

With the fast development of telecommunications technology , The integration of network is an irresistible general trend ,so the NGN cored with Softswitch get the people's attention more and more .Based on this technology, it can carry out the traditional telephone function ,and also can handle IP communication .So it becomes the best solution to meets user's requirement. Traditional telecommunication equipment would be paid attention to hardware more than software generally, so the software only need to make the function come true. But to the rising softswitch equipment , we need to realize stability , expansibility , flexibility and so on. The traditional software development which only take notice of the product quality couldn't to meet the softswitch'characteristic. In project of softswitch development, the company cry for study and implement the international norm of software engineering management , system integration quality control and project management. Software engineering ,as a subject about how to carry out the development and maintenance for software, will has a far-reaching impact on Softswitch development and software industry .The summary to the NGN and Softswitch technology is given in this paper, and the emphasis is the research about software engineering and CMMI(Capability maturity model integration). CMMI framework is an general regulation,and it doesn't specify the detailed actions that the corporations will do.After analyzing the frame of CMMI, through the work experience of myself in fujitsu , this paper has found out about how to apply CMMI framework to carry out project management and quality control in software development.At last, with the actual status of the company, this paper gave the suitable general quality management framework based on CMMI. According the CMMI specification, through the software development of a new function,aiming at the problem that how to apply the software engineering and CMMI in project, the paper studied how to carry out the software development,test and quality management et al.
