Research On Software Engineering Optimization Based On CMMI Model

Research on CMMI model Software Engineering Optimization is based on the in-depth study of software process improvement theory, CMMI DEV model, CMMI ideological essence and characteristics of the domestic software companies. It is a software process improvement optimization method proposed based on CMMI software project implementation.This essay firstly describes the software engineering, software process and related basic concepts of CMMI; meanwhile, it analyzes and summarizes our software enterprises, especially small and medium sized enterprises’difficulties and obstacles faced during the software engineering process improvement by the application CMMI; then combining with the characteristics of most small and medium sized software enterprises, on the basis of research and software engineering practices of CMMI process improvement model, it puts forward a software process improvement program suitable for small and medium enterprises through appropriate tailoring of CMMI process areas for a better improvement.Finally, through the analysis and research by the author on company AB’s software development process, it demonstrates the role of software process improvement program to promote the actual software development work.
