A Study About The Application Of Push Technology In Library And Intelligence Institute's Information Services

Push technology, a kind of Internet technology, was developed in mid 1990s. This technology has greatly influenced the Library and Intelligence Institute. It will bring a broad developing space for them to take information push services by adopting push technology.To begin with, in the article, the origin, characteristics and problems of this technology is talked about. Next, it explains the working principles, components, basic modes and technical realization measures of information push system. Further more, the products, standards and applications in the world are introduced. Then it summarizes the import of push technology into Library and Intelligence Institute, and the points of this kind of service mode.From fifth to seventh chapter, it expatiates on the application modes of push technology in the Library and Intelligence Institute.
